The PRISM Project promotes highly effective online teaching strategies that engage students and have a positive impact on student performance.  We have a goal of creating a collaborative network of PRISM master teachers sharing highly effective online teaching strategies.  In the spirit of trying to create an environment of collaboration, we invite all PRISM member teachers to share their best online teaching strategies with the rest of the membership.  At the present time, we have two master PRISM teachers that have shared some of their expertise:

  • Nora Walsh, Chemistry teacher at F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville, IN
  • Erica Case, Spanish teacher at Greensburg Community High School in Greensburg, IN.
Nora and Erica are two excellent teachers that have created video lessons, uploaded them to YouTube and shared links to the videos.  Links to these videos are on the PRISM main webpage in the Help and Extras block on the right side of the page under Tutorials and Videos.  We would like to see some more videos shared and ideas exchanged.

We also encourage PRISM teachers to consider submitting a proposal to Keep Indiana Learning (KInL) to present about their most highly effective online teaching strategies that work well with students.  At KInL, teachers can choose between OnDemand Events, workshops or other in-person events.

Let's support each other and promote highly effective teaching strategies that are enabled by the LMS provided by PRISM!
